Deep Purple ~ Highway Star. Wow! That takes me back tothe days of my youth driving my Lotus Cortina at frightening speeds through the night in the Hertfordshire countryside!

Love the opening to Can't you hear me knocking ~ Rolling Stones

I saw Faith No More perform Zombie Eaters (one of my all time favourite songs by any band) a few times, and the first two minutes of that song always have me completely spellbound. Possibly more than an intro, mind.

Rock/Metal is full of them

Rainbow's Tarrot Women is brilliant, First time song I heard from the Dio era and it had me fixed.

Always loved Rush doing Camera Eye. The synths sound dated now but a a great warm sound. Never thought I would say they that about Synths, They way the song builds up. Rush at their best.

Metallica have a some great tunes Wherever I may Rome is a monster.

Maiden have loads and always a master of the into. Love the Ides of March!!!

Ozzy Osbourne and the Blizzard of Ozz doing SATO that is a Monster Riff!! and the drama of Diary of a Madman. RIP Rhandy Rhodes

Garry Moore - Murder in the Skies

Perhaps my fav and somes up Heavy Rock. Is Black Sabbath doing Black. Sabbath. The rain, bells, Thunder then the riff!! I still
hide behind the sofa when that one comes on!!

Oh and best ending of a song has to Ace of Spades!!
:-)
ROOOOOOOOOOOCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Smoke on the Water and Whole Lotta Love are probably the most iconic, but I just love LA Woman and its intro is spectacular. I think it was at the Yes QPR gig that they played it just before the band came on. Absolutely got the whole crowd up.
